The StreetGlow Adhesion Promoter Pen delivers a professional-grade surface treatment formulated with genuine 3M™ VHB™ Water-Based Promoter UV to create maximum chemical bonding between automotive surfaces and double-sided acrylic foam tapes.

Unlike wasteful, messy dauber cans or tiny 0.66 mL snap-ampules that dry out before you finish your job, StreetGlow’s valve-actuated pen provides precision flow control with a generous .50 Fl Oz (15 mL) capacity. It treats tricky automotive substrates—including ABS, polypropylene, coated metals, and powder-coated brackets—ensuring your heavy-duty exterior components stay permanently attached through vibration, wash cycles, and extreme weather.

Directions

  1. Clean: Thoroughly clean and dry the bonding surface using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or 70/30 IPA solution to strip grease, wax, and road grime.   
  2. Prime: Shake well with cap secured. Remove the cap, depress the applicator tip against the surface until the primer saturates the nib, and apply a uniform thin layer along the tape line.   
  3. Bond: Allow the promoter to dry (~30–60 seconds). Apply your 3M tape or LED assembly firmly into place within 30 minutes of application
